Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use the browser's local storage (localStorage) for small preferences. Both are treated here as “cookies”.

• Session and authentication: keep you signed in and protect the account (prefix sb-). There is also a marker showing whether you chose not to stay signed in.
• Language and country: store the page language and the detected or chosen country, to show the right language and currency.
• App preferences: light/dark theme, open shop, whether the side menu is collapsed.
• Payments and security: Stripe may set its own cookies during payment to prevent fraud and complete the purchase.
• Notifications and app installation: the service worker lets you install the app and receive alerts, only if you enable them. It does not cache pages or data.

When you arrive through an affiliate link, we store the code and channel of who referred you and an anonymous visitor identifier (up to 30 days) to attribute the commission if you subscribe. You can refuse by clearing cookies; in that case the commission may not be attributed.

We store locally on your device, for example, your recent SideShop searches and tool drafts. They stay on your device only and you can delete them in your browser settings.

We do not use advertising, remarketing or behavioural-profile cookies. If we ever start using analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, parts of the app (such as staying signed in) will stop working.
